About Us

Our commitment is to support each student’s education from a Biblical perspective. While the parent maintains authority over student learning, we offer weekly accountability of assigned homework, instructional feedback. This dynamic environment helps students not only academically and spiritually, but balances them socially as well through field trips, drama productions, family outings, grade specific events, and choir performances. Our approach, helps students get the most out of the core subjects they need to lay a foundation for further studies. We consider ourselves to be a Gospel centered group that focuses on fostering relationships among homeschooling families to the glory of Jesus Christ.

It is our desire that each child would be led to a personal relationship with Christ and trained in Scriptural principles and values. We believe that academic excellence will be a natural outcome of responsible, consistent homeschooling. We believe that our children will become responsible, well-adjusted, productive members of society through the strong and consistent influence, training, love, and discipline of their parents.

The goal of Victory Academy is to come alongside parents in order to equip students with skills to be well rounded community members who can formulate questions, and gain understanding on how to pursue the answers. Although instructors may use textbooks, our focus is to foster an attitude of self-disciplined, curious students through seminars, interaction, and discussion. Our goal is to expose them to a wide range of interests and ideas, helping students analyze and discover the connections. This is what studying is all about! Basic skills are reinforced through weekly practice that allows for appropriate progress, without endless busywork, which can lead to frustration.

Homework is assigned only to reinforce concepts taught. This is intended to leave room during the week for students to integrate work and chores, and to explore creative thoughts, projects and ambitions. Students with this balance are known to significantly excel in educational pursuits as they master how to organize priorities, and live an uncluttered, orderly life. The importance of these skill cannot be downplayed in the overall desire to raise children who are not overwhelmed and burnt out.
